MN: Milan’s injury list almost empty – the latest on Romagnoli, Calabria and Daniel Maldini

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are set to recover Alessio Romagnoli for the home game against Genoa but two other injured players continue to work individually.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Romagnoli – who actually recovered from his muscle problem last week – carried out the entire training session with the rest of the squad today at Milanello.

The Rossoneri captain will therefore be available for the match on Sunday at lunchtime against the Rossoblu at San Siro, having missed a lengthy period and some important games. Whether he starts over Simon Kjaer or Fikayo Tomori given their recent good form remains to be seen.

It means that Stefano Pioli has almost a full squad to choose from as we enter the last eight games of the season. The only two who are currently still recovering are Davide Calabria and Daniel Maldini who trained alone today, with the former recovering from minor knee surgery.
