MN: Milan’s interest in Udinese star De Paul is concrete – discussions held with counterparts possible

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan’s interest in Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul has been confirmed by a reliable source, with conversations reportedly having been had.

La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews) reported that the Rossoneri have a concrete interest in signing De Paul from Udinese and have even presented a first offer of Hauge plus cash.

As MilanNews writes, Hakan Calhanoglu has scored in the last two home games but there are no steps forward regarding his renewal. Milan will not be unprepared if he were to leave given it is such an important role, which is why in recent weeks there have been contacts for Rodrigo De Paul.

The Argentine is a player that Milan admire strongly but they are not the only club who are watching on, though there has been more than one phone call between the Milan management and Udinese. The price tag is very high, but Milan are counting on inserting two or three young counterparts to lower their demands.

However, the player recently switched agent to Mino Raiola, and the change of economic strategy of his new agent has slowed the Diavolo down. It will be seen in the coming weeks whether Milan press down on the accelerator.

  1. Yes for De Paul, NO for Raiola + De Paul. Forget about it & switch to a different target.
