MN: Milan’s probable XI to face Hellas Verona – multiple changes from Atalanta win

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will be forced into some changes for Saturday’s game against Hellas Verona at San Siro, a report claims.

Theo Hernandez (Covid), Mike Maignan (out after surgery), Alessandro Florenzi (after surgery), Alessandro Plizzari (after surgery), Tiemoué Bakayoko (muscle problem), Rade Krunic (muscle problem) and Junior Messias (muscle problem) will all miss the game.

MilanNews writes that Ciprian Tatarusanu should get the start in goal, then a back four formed by Pierre Kalulu (but watch out for Calabria), Fikayo Tomori, Alessio Romagnoli (Kjaer to be rested) and Fode Ballo-Touré.

In midfield should be Sandro Tonali and Franck Kessie, with Alexis Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao supporting the centre-forward, which should be Ante Rebic. Olivier Giroud is expected to play a part in the second half.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tătărușanu; Kalulu, Tomori, Romagnoli, Ballo-Touré; Tonali, Kessie; Saelemaekers, Brahim Díaz, Leão; Rebić.
