MN: Moncada in charge as Milan open talks over €25m midfielder deal; latest on Tonali

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to revamp their midfield this summer with two names currently on the agenda, one journalist has claimed.

According to the latest from Anto Vitiello for MilanNews, contacts with some agents are intensifying on the market as the resumption of the Serie A season – among other leagues in Europe – draws closer.

The leading protagonist at the moment for Milan is chief scout Geoffrey Moncada, who is carrying out some negotiations on behalf of the club. At the beginning of the week there was a new phone call with some intermediaries regarding the operation to sign Dominik Szoboszlai.

The Red Bull Salzburg star would be perfect for Rangnick’s new Milan and the auction for the 19-year-old Hungary international will start at €25m, with other clubs in Europe interested.

Milan are trying to lower the price, but he seems to be one of the main objectives of the midfield, in addition to Sandro Tonali who has a higher cost and for whom there at least three clubs ahead of the Rossoneri (Inter, Juve and Napoli).
