AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli will give the squad two days off after they rounded off their preseason friendly campaign today.
Milan’s final friendly was this morning at Milanello against Serie C side Novara, and they again scored four times in a 4-2 win. Samuel Chukwueze and Noah Okafor scored in the first half, with Davide Calabria and Lorenzo Colombo netting in the second.
According to MilanNews, Pioli informed the team that they will now have two days off after the victory against Novara and they will therefore return to training on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, preparation for the opening game of the 2023-24 Serie A season against Bologna will begin. The session in three days will begin with a mandatory lunch for the whole squad at Milanello.
Milan face the Rossoblu at the Stadio Renato dall’Ara on the night of Monday 21 August, hoping to get their campaign started in the best possible way.
Looks balance now. From 6 preseason matches: 2-2-2. 😀
I mean 7 perseason matches 3-2-2
