AC Milan left two points on the table against Roma but are back in action against Torino tomorrow, with Tommaso Pobega set to get another opportunity.
MilanNews report that Stefano Pioli should opt for a decent amount of rotation to keep the squad fresh and also give opportunities to the players that have not played much in the first part of the season, with Pobega among those.
He scored his first league goal for Milan during the draw against Roma and tomorrow he will face the side he spent last season on loan at. Pobega was under Ivan Juric’s guidance at Torino and was able to develop further by collecting 33 appearances and also scoring four goals.
The match won’t be easy for Milan but the characteristics of the Primavera graduate – who knows his opponents very well – could be very useful to the cause. A good performance against the Granata would help his confidence, especially if it secured passage to the quarter-finals without problems.
Pobega is finding it tough to get starts at the minute because of how important Bennacer and Tonali are, but tomorrow provides a chance for him to demonstrate he is a key resource.
