Stefano Pioli is close to being able to welcome forward Rafael Leao back into training with the group, according to a report.
After the reported injury sustained against Cagliari, Leao never returned to training with group and has not yet taken part in a session under the orders of Pioli.
Sky Italia journalist Peppe Di Stefano (via MilanNews) recently reported that the Portuguese starlet – as Milan have now confirmed – has contracted COVID-19 and has been in quarantine for 25 days.
However, MilanNews bring some positive news as they report that Leao is close to returning. The former Lille star, who has been in quarantine for almost a month due to Coronavirus, has finally overcome the hardest phase.
He will soon undergo medical examinations in preparation for the green light to allow him to return to training at Milanello, where he will have to undergo a personalised program to get up to speed with his team-mates.
