MN: Probable Milan XI to face Liverpool – several changes from Arsenal defeat

AC Milan are back in action this afternoon as they will face off against Liverpool in their second Dubai Super Cup match, and some team news has emerged.

After the defeat against Arsenal on Tuesday by a scoreline of 2-1, the Rossoneri will face Liverpool at 16:30 CET at the Al Maktoum Stadium in what is another important opportunity for Milan to improve their physical condition get back in rhythm ahead of the season resuming with the trip to play Salernitana on January 4.

MilanNews report that Stefano Pioli is expected to make changes to the team that took to the field on Tuesday against the Gunners. Ciprian Tatarusanu will still be in goal, with Malick Thiaw expected to start ahead of Fikayo Tomori, joining Pierre Kalulu, Matteo Gabbia and Tommaso Pobega in defence.

In midfield, Aster Vranckx should start on the bench to give Rade Krunic some playing time. In attack Alexis Saelemaekers, Yacine Adli and Ante Rebic are tipped to form the trident behind the centre-forward, which should be Marko Lazetic and not Divock Origi.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Thiaw, Gabbia, Pobega; Tonali, Krunic; Saelemaekers, Adli, Rebic; Lazetic.
