MN: Serie A side reignite interest in Adli and hope to secure loan deal

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan playmaker Yacine Adli is attracting interest from Sampdoria as he continues to get little playing time, a report claims.

Hopes were high for Adli after he returned from his season on loan at Bordeaux and impressed during the preseason friendlies last summer, but in truth he has never found much space in Stefano Pioli’s plans.

In fact, he has made just one start in Serie A and has been restricted to a few cameos off the bench aside from that, as well as being left off the Champions League squad list altogether. This has naturally led to speculation that a loan deal could be explored this month, to help the Frenchman’s development.

According to the latest from MilanNews, Sampdoria’s interest in the 22-year-old has reignited as the Genovese club would be willing to take him on loan, allowing him to find more minutes than what he has been getting. The Rossoneri’s stance on the idea, however, is not mentioned.

  1. I can’t believe Adli is worse than Pobega, Krunic and Vrancx (for CM) and Diaz( for CAM).

He seriously CANNOT be worse than those guy’s who get minutes.

IF he truly is, I would put in an option for Sampdoria.
