MN: The latest from Milanello on the condition of Castillejo, Romagnoli and Leao

By Oliver Fisher -

After good news arrived earlier in the day about Simon Kjaer’s condition, positive updates have arrived regarding three more Milan players.

According to MilanNews, Rafael Leao returned to Milanello for the first time this season so far where he did some personalised training. The young Portuguese striker above all did athletic work, and he will get back up to speed before joining the rest of the group having missed the start of preseason due to being in quarantine.

There is no problem for Samu Castillejo, who came offer against Bologna after suffering a slight problem. Both he and Kjaer had a more relaxed workout together with the other players who took the field yesterday against the Rossoblu.

Finally, there is good news regarding captain Alessio Romagnoli, who has now fully recovered from his calf problem and is now carrying out athletic work to get back up to speed as quickly as possible.

Without our captain we might be able to win this league…hopefully he takes his time to fully recover and be ready for the bench.
