MN: The latest on Castillejo and Musacchio; training resumes tomorrow

By Isak Möller -

The international break is underway and Stefano Pioli won’t have the full squad at his disposal during this week’s training. As much as it is a period to work on new things, it will also give some players the time to recover.

This is the case for Samu Castillejo and Mateo Musacchio, who both are on the injury list. According to MilanNews.it, the Spaniard will undergo further tests on his biceps femoris to understand the extent of his struggles.

Meanwhile, there is no word on the Argentine. Given the current situation, though, it’s not even certain that he would get a starting spot, as Leo Duarte has done very well alongside Alessio Romagnoli at the back.

Per the report, training will resume tomorrow for the rest of the squad. 12 of Pioli’s men are out on international duty, which means we will most likely see a few faces from the Primavera squad with the first team this week.
