Today is the day that Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud returned to Milanello, and they were joined by the rest of the squad.
According to what is being reported by MilanNews, Hernandez and Giroud were present in today’s training that the team carried out this morning at Milanello as they did a mix of work in the gym and running on the pitch.
The team will meet again tomorrow at the training complex at 12 noon, with preparations to continue ahead of the resumption of Serie A action on January 4 against Salernitana.
Theo and Giroud were probably not expecting to be joined by the rest of the squad, but Sky (via MilanNews) reported that the head coach Stefano Pioli decided yesterday evening – in agreement with Paolo Maldini, Ricky Massara and the players – to cancel the scheduled day of rest after the friendly defeat against PSV Eindhoven which was a worrying performance.
