Hakan Calhanoglu hasn’t decided on the contract offer that Milan put on the table a while back, and time is running out. Should the Turk decide to leave the Rossoneri, then there are a few names on the latter’s radar.
According to MilanNews, the first name on the notebook is Amine Adli, who also can play as a right-winger. Regardless of Calhanoglu’s renewal, Milan want to sign the 21-year-old as he could be a great player for the future.
In terms of No.10 targets to replace Calhanoglu, if he decided to leave, the Rossoneri are mainly monitoring three players: Josip Ilicic, Papu Gomez and Hakim Ziyech. On July 8th, the team will reconvene at Milanello so there isn’t much time.
To date, Calhanoglu nor Milan have made a decision on the matter but the coming days could be decisive. Then of course, regardless of the renewal, the Rossoneri also want to keep Brahim Diaz who was on loan from Real Madrid this past season.

iličić was good 2 seasons ago , now he is 33 ,there is no way he can play the whole season as we expect ,wasted money imo,he didn’t play serious football for more than a year,he can be only potential sub now
I’m assuming that Hakan leaves and Diaz is the starter. Either Gomez or Ilicic are reasonable subs and fine. Ilicic gives us height and a change of style from Diaz, so I guess I’d rather him above Gomez.
The real issue is getting a proper right winger and striker. Full stop.

I’m sure we will get whoever is cheapest – so that should be Illic – no way we are spending 40M on Ziyech or anyone else for that matter….be happy of we get this young kid Adil – but as for prove starters it’s free transfers or players available that not too many people want. So disappointing.
