There are three tangible advantages that would come from Ralf Rangnick’s arrival at AC Milan, according to a report from MilanNews.
It has been a chaotic week for the Rossoneri with another war of words ensuing in the media, this time led by Paolo Maldini, while rumours persist regarding Rangnick’s imminent arrival but with no general consensus as to what the role will be.
The report picks out three key positives that will emerge if Rangnick does arrive, the first being that he will be fully backed by the club’s ownership as they have hand picked him to lead the revolution.
The second is that with his arrival only those who truly believe in the project will remain at Milan, and for the first time the club will feel united with everyone pulling in the same direction, without internal wars that lead nowhere. This could, of course, spell the end for Paolo Maldini.
The third positive is that the German has also asked for investment guarantees to accept, proving that Elliott are ready and willing to provide the economic resources needed to launch his ideas.
The charm of Milan could of course be the main factor in persuading Rangnick to leave Red Bull, but perhaps beyond this there is also a more ambitious project than it may seem from the outside.
