Everything is in place for Stefano Pioli’s arrival. Earlier this evening, AC Milan announced the sacking of Marco Giampaolo, which will pave the way for the former Fiorentina man to sign his contract with the Rossoneri.
As reported by MilanNews.it, Milan will announce the appointment of the manager tomorrow morning, which by the looks of it won’t go down well with the fans. Then, the presentation could take place either tomorrow afternoon or possibly Thursday.
Pioli will sign a two-year contract with the San Siro side, according to our correspondent Vito Angele. Only the official announcement is missing and the 53-year-old is currently staying at a hotel in the centre of Milan.
However, he refused to give any details away when he left the hotel earlier this evening, as Sky Italia reports managed to track him down. “Tomorrow we will talk,” he told the TV channel (via MilanNews.it). Everything is in place, Milan’s new manager has been decided.
