MN: Probable XIs for Milan vs. Lazio – both sides to make changes

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan will face Lazio afternoon, Saturday that is, and the Rossoneri are in desperate need of three points after the draw against Cremonese. Stefano Pioli is set to make some changes to the XI.

The manager made seven changes to the starting eleven for the mid-week clash against Cremonese and it perhaps wasn’t the best move. For this one, therefore, he will revert to the strongest XI possible.

According to MilanNews, the likes of Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori, Theo Hernandez, Sandro Tonali, Rade Krunic, Rafael Leao and Olivier Giroud will all be back from start. Of course, it wouldn’t make any sense to keep any of them on the bench for such an important game in the top-four race.

As for Lazio, they could make some changes too after the 2-0 win against Sassuolo. The former Milan man Alessio Romagnoli will be back from start, while Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is set to replace Luis Alberto in midfield. Mattia Zaccagni isn’t 100% and could be on the bench.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Bennacer, Leao; Giroud.

Probable Lazio XI (4-3-3): Provedel; Marusic, Casale, Romagnoli, Hysaj; Milinkovic, Marcos Antonio, Basic; Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni (Pedro).
