AC Milan enquired about the situation of Samu Aghehowa before he joined Porto in the summer, but the Rossoneri were too late. According to a report, the Rossoneri have also probed the ground more recently.

After a successful loan spell at Alaves, Aghehowa caught the attention of some big clubs given his young age (now 20 years old). According to Matteo Moretto, Milan enquired about his situation during the summer but it was already too late, as a move to Porto was more or less completed.

The Portuguese side paid €15m to Atletico Madrid for 50% of the player rights and the striker has started well, with seven goals in six appearances. Furthermore, according to Moretto, the Rossoneri probed the ground once again recently but there are no margins for a negotiation.

It remains to be seen if a new third-choice striker will arrive in January, but it sure seems that way as Luka Jovic likely will want a move. The Serbian has played just 78 minutes this season and there is no moving Tammy Abraham or Alvaro Morata down the pecking order.

However, by the looks of it, Milan will not get their hands on Aghehowa whose price tag is increasing by the day.
