Moretto: Milan accelerate talks with expiring Liverpool man – when it should be done

By Isak Möller -

Divock Origi has been heavily linked with AC Milan in the last few weeks as his contract will expire at the end of the season. Indeed, a Liverpool exit appears to be close as the Rossoneri have held new talks, a report claims.

Milan are looking for a striker ahead of next season as the likes of Olivier Giroud and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aren’t getting any younger. The latter might even retire this summer, which makes a signing even more necessary.

In the last few weeks, as said, Origi has been linked with a move to Milan. According to Matteo Moretto, the Rossoneri have held new talks with the player’s entourage and their intention is to finalise the signing.

The operation should be completed after the Champions League final between Liverpool and Real Madrid later this month. Origi will sign a four-year deal with Milan, per the journalist, and he will be one of the first summer signings.

      1. Ask any Liverpool fan what they think – they know a little bit more about Origi than you, my friend….

  1. LMAO 😂😂
Origi is just an ordinary bench striker
He’s not good in starting match
What kind of striker is that ??
My grandma can do better 😂😂🤠🤠

  2. milan management as it is…. 7mio Ibra, 5,7mio giroud and now bring origi? for another 5mio. You can’t do much worse in the forward line with 17m salary, thats sooooooo stupid.
sell giroud (what is not possible) and bring a nunez, or let grow a teenager next to giroud. It is still stupid to bring 34 old player…

  3. Stale news, we have been accelerating his purchase for months now. Its not news.
When he puts pen.to.paper, then publish it.
