MP: Milan quartet resumes individual work at Milanello – the latest

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan were back at Milanello this morning for another training session and as per a report, there isn’t much to highlight. The four players in the spotlight, in fact, resumed individual work and didn’t participate in group training.

As stated on the official website, the Milan players had breakfast together before heading out on the pitch. Nine players are currently on international duty (see the list here), and that’s why some Primavera players have been present in recent days.

According to MilanPress, the likes of Ismael Bennacer, Davide Calabria, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Christian Pulisic all did individual work today. The goal appears to be having the latter three back next week, with the Fiorentina game up next.

Milan will have a training session tomorrow (Saturday) as well but after that, they will be given two days off. There is plenty of time to prepare for the Fiorentina game, thanks to the international break, and it’s good to give the players some rest as well.

Pioli and his staff will also have to analyse the many injuries suffered since the start of the season. A solution must be found and it will be interesting to see what the manager will conclude.
