It has been reported that Bee Taechaubol will not invest in Milan, not even a dime. So, President Silvio Berlusconi will have to cover money loss. The Thai tycoon, also known as Mr Bee, had an agreement to buy a 48 percent stake in i diavoli for close to €500m, however, there have been repeated delays.
Corriere dello Sport is now reporting that talks have collapsed, and that this deal will never be completed. According to the newspaper, following losses of €94 million last year, Fininvest is willing to put in only €50m this year.
It is unlikely another investor will be willing to invest at the price Mr. Bee had agreed to at, so President Silvio Berlusconi is likely to have to cover the losses himself.
Silvio Berlusconi is likely to intervene, but cutbacks are expected for upcoming seasons.
Yet again, Milan will focus on developing youth team players, like they have done with Gianluigi Donnarumma.
