Mateo Musacchio, who recently came back from an injury, spoke to Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it) about several things regarding AC Milan, including the rumoured return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Rossoneri have been struggling in attack so far this season, producing just 12 goals in 13 games. Of course, this has also resulted in a very poor position in the standings, currently sitting in 13th place.
Therefore, they are looking to reinforce their attack in January, having set their sights on Ibrahimovic. In the interview, Musacchio was asked about the Swedish international and his potential return to the club.
“Ibrahimovic? He is a great player and he has displayed this. Having great players is always a good thing,” the defender stated.
According to Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), there have been no more contacts since the first meeting, but Mino Raiola (the striker’s agent) is expected in Milan soon. Furthermore, the directors are hopeful about the operation, which now seems possible.
On Sunday afternoon, Parma will host the Rossoneri in the 14th round of Serie A. For Pioli’s men, it will be crucial to grab the win.
