Napoli captain Giovanni Di Lorenzo was asked about the best player he has faced during an interview for the Italian national team. He replied with ‘Rafael Leao’, stating that the AC Milan winger is very strong.
Milan faced Napoli four times last season, twice in the league and twice in the Champions League, with the Rossoneri winning two of those (1D, 1L). Leao left his mark especially in the second league clash and the UCL clashes, famously assisting Giroud after a fantastic solo run.
Speaking to the channel of the Italian national team, Federico Dimarco and Giovanni Di Lorenzo were both asked about the best player they have come up against. The Inter man said Ousmane Dembele, while the Napoli man said Rafael Leao.
“The best player I have faced? For me, absolutely Leao. He’s truly a strong player and is always difficult to face and mark,” he stated.
Milan and Napoli will take on each other after the break, with the game scheduled for October 29. The Partenopei will be the home side and the Rossoneri will be hoping to repeat their glory from last season at the stadium.
