New Milan Primavera recruit makes Guardian’s list of 60 best young talents

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan youth sector player Dariusz Stalmach has made a very promising shortlist not long after sealing his move to the Rossoneri.

One of the summer arrivals that might have gone under the radar was the acquisition of the 17-year-old Polish midfielder Dariusz Stalmach, who was of course signed for the Primavera.

The Guardian today released a list of the top 60 footballers born in 2005 and Stalmach is present among them. He made his debut at 15 with the senior side of Gornik Zabrze, showing just how much potential he has.

After 20 games in the Ekstralasa, the Rossoneri signed him for a fee widely reported to be around €500k back in Augus. He is a versatile and modern midfielder who is good at both passing and dribbling.

When he arrived, the teenager stated his ambitions clearly: “I will start in the Primavera, but I hope to join the First Team by the end of the season.”
