CM: Newcastle emerges as a possible destination for exit-bound Milan midfielder

By Euan Burns -

Newcastle United have emerged as a possible destination for Tiemoue Bakayoko who AC Milan are keen to move on this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by Calciomercato.com, the French midfielder is certainly on his way out of the club this summer as he is not in the project that Stefano Pioli and Milan are currently working within.

The most heavily-linked team has been Serie A side Monza but Nottingham Forest have also been linked. Now, fellow Premier League side Newcastle have thrown their hat into the ring as they are looking for an experienced midfielder.

Paolo Maldini and Frederic Massara want to end Bakayoko’s two-year loan one season early but they need the green light from Chelsea whom he has a contract with until 2024.

It is a complicated situation but Milan want to lose the player and the player definitely wants to go and there are suitors.
