AC Milan have raised their efforts to try and sign Zlatan Ibrahimovic and are closing in on an agreement, according to multiple reports.
As we revealed, Ibrahimovic is Milan’s main target for the January transfer window, with the club’s owners Elliott Management agreeing to add more experience to the squad in the upcoming window.
SportMediaset (via MilanNews.it) then reported on Thursday that Ibrahimovic and Milan are getting closer and closer in terms of offer and request.
Now, La Gazzetta dello Sport journalist Nicolo Schira has claimed that Milan are continuing to press for the 38-year-old, and are willing to add heavy bonuses to their current offer of €6m for the next 18 months (€2m until June, €4m for next season).
However, the Swede is apparently asking for €9m net (€3m plus €6m), though new contacts are expected between the parties in the coming days.
