Official: AC Milan confirm signing of Noah Okafor on deal until 2028

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have officially confirmed the signing of Noah Okafor from RB Salzburg. The Swiss international has signed a contract with the club until 2028.

The news about Milan’s agreement with Salzburg broke early on Friday morning and more or less came out of nowhere. The Rossoneri acted quickly and secured an agreement at around €15m, which is a very good deal.

On their website just a few minutes ago, Milan confirmed that they have signed the striker from Salzburg. A five-year contract has been signed and Okafor has decided to wear the No.17 shirt, as was spoiled by Rafael Leao.

“AC Milan is delighted to announce that Noah Arinzechukwu Okafor has joined the Club from FC Red Bull Salzburg on a permanent basis. The Swiss forward has signed a deal with the Rossoneri that lasts until 30 June 2028,” the statement read.

Okafor will fly to Los Angeles tomorrow to join his new teammates for the pre-season tour. Milan will face the likes of Real Madrid, Barcelona and Juventus while there.

  1. Can play both wings very effectively, and as a forward if needed. As long as he stays fit, and I think he will.

    Glad to see him here!

  2. Good buy for great price. We need these kind of versatile players to compete on all fronts. With Leao, Pulisic, Okafor and most possibly Chuk, our frontline will be really fast and unpredictable.

  3. Good value signing!

Not a classic no. 9 but he will be a big improvement on the options we have.

Now the ownership has spent the Tonali money.
Problem is we went from having a very strong midfield to starting from scratch there.
I still can’t work out who will be the DM except for Krunic, so we need another midfielder.

It’s going to take time to integrate all these new guys, let’s hope it doesn’t affect the great squad spirit we have had.
The midfield in particular is going to need time to work out their roles.
Let’s not expect to be rocking and rolling in week 1 of serie A

    1. Yes its quite interesting. The new signings look good on paper and gives optimism. But like u said, i hope they don’t take long to gel. When in u think of it, we’ve replaced potentially half of the squad.

      1. We went from not having starters to having one strong starter RW and Okafor who can play both flanks effectively.

Saelesmaekers definitely won’t have any starts here any longer.
