By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have been dealt yet another blow as Theo Hernandez has tested positive after returning from international duty, it has been confirmed.

The club have announced via a statement on their official website that the Frenchman tested positive after a swab carried out at home. The relevant local health authorities have been informed and the player is doing well.

The 24-year-old played his second and third games for his country over the international break, scoring an added time winner in a 3-2 victory over Belgium at the Allianz Stadium with a trademark shot from the left side of the box into the far corner.

Then, he got the decisive assist deep into the second half during the final against Spain, setting up Kylian Mbappe for the winning goal. He continues to go from strength to strength at Milan and for his country, but now faces a bit of time out, and we wish him a speedy recovery.

  1. Some still want to sell or free romagnoli. Depth is what you need the most these years. International duties too much. Don’t like to watch international matches nowadays. Poor quality. If you pay for watching the best team you want, they are going to pay for footballers, other costs should be cut. Elliot should put hands in their pocket.

  2. At this rate, we will have just Primavera players on pitch. Give Kerkez his debut at LB..last thing we want is Ballo Toure injured
