Official: AC Milan vs. Fiorentina starting XIs – five changes from Cremonese

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made five changes to the starting line-up for the game against Fiorentina compared to the team that drew with Cremonese in midweek.

Ciprian Tatarusanu will start in goal again with Pierre Kalulu coming back into the side alongside Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez – back from suspension – to form the defence, which could be a three or a four-man back line.

Sandro Tonali and Ismael Bennacer keep their spot in the double pivot with Rade Krunic chosen over Charles De Ketelaere as the playmaker.

Brahim Diaz comes in for the injured Junior Messias on the right wing with Rafael Leao on the opposite flank and Olivier Giroud – also back from a one-game ban – completing the XI as the centre-forward.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Kalulu, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Bennacer, Tonali; Diaz, Krunic, Leao; Giroud.

Bench: Mirante, Jungdal, Ballo-Touré, Adli, Rebic, Bakayoko, Dest, Kjaer, Origi, Pobega, Vranckx, De Ketelaere.

    1. So… Kjaer on the bench means Viola will score at least one. And that means Milan needs to score at least twice… Won’t be easy.
