AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has made changes in each department for tonight’s Supercoppa Italiana against Inter compared to the team that drew with Lecce.
The Milan defence will consist of Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez ahead of Ciprian Tatarusanu, with Pierre Kalulu dropping to the bench after a difficult night on Saturday.
Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali have been reunited in the midfield double pivot after the latter missed the Lecce game due to suspension. Brahim Diaz has been given the attacking midfielder role.
The attack will then be completed by Junior Messias on the right – who has been chosen over Alexis Saelemaekers – plus Rafael Leao on the left wing and Olivier Giroud up front.
Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Bennacer; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
Bench: Mirante, Vásquez; Bozzolan, Dest, Gabbia, Kalulu, Thiaw; Adli, Bakayoko, Pobega, Saelemaekers, Vranckx; De Ketelaere, Origi, Rebić.

Forza Milan !
Milan plays well vs big teams..let’s hope that trend continues
i can’t continue to watch this. milan so wasteful. inter is a better team the whole match physically, mentally and tactically. this is frustrating from supporters pov. i can’t imagine how distraught they feel on the bench. it’s their fault for how messy they’ve been playing this game.
