Massimiliano Allegri has named AC Milan’s side to face Atalanta at the New Balance Arena, with just the one alteration from Friday.
Milan have a duty to bounce back after they dropped points against bottom-placed Pisa a few days ago at San Siro, needing a 94th-minute goal to rescue a draw. However, Atalanta are yet to lose in eight league games this season so it will be a tough ask, albeit they have drawn six.

Several injured players are getting close to returning, but only one has made it back for tonight. Ruben Loftus-Cheel returned to full training on Sunday, and he is therefore fit enough to be on the bench. Christian Pulisic, Pervis Estupinan, Adrien Rabiot and Ardon Jashari all remain out.
The only change compared to the team that drew on Friday is in defence, with Fikayo Tomori coming back in and Koni De Winter dropping to the bench. Matteo Gabbia and Strahinja Pavlovic complete the rearguard in front of Mike Maigna.
A midfield three of Youssouf Fofana, Luka Modric and Samuele Ricci will once again be flanked by the wing-backs Alexis Saelemaekers and Davide Bartesaghi. In attack, Santiago Gimenez will pair up with Rafael Leao, who is in good form.
The bench once again looks light for the Rossoneri given their injuries, with only Christopher Nkunku, Loftus-Cheek, Zachary Athekame and De Winter as senior players able to lend a hand.

I have spotted that previously. They have an obligational buy clause if certain criterias is met so I doubt he will be back for us. Considering he is playing basically all the minutes he might even get an Italy call if he can keep continuing his progress. Clearly he wouldn’t have gotten that opportunity with us though but good he is doing good for them.

Yeah, that svcked. Could really have given us a hand today. Still don’t know why a 17 year old was loaned to a Serie A side that would be battling relegation. Seems like an unnecessary pressure cooker.
I’m just wondering why Max didn’t go with Leao Gimi Nkunku trident at some point in the last match. You needed a goal and taking a big centre forward off for a winger. No matter how I look at it, I see Max mismanaging the attack if he would never fill three at least at certain points. Forza Milan!

I hope we can see Ricci at the base of midfield, it is what he is, a regista.
Modric is probably the best mezzala ever.
In any job if you have a gap to fill in the roster you ask the most experienced person to fill in, not the rookie.

Now we know that Pulisic is the real deal of this team, as well as rabiot. As for you poster boy, all he does is to walk around waiting for a ball to do his usual stunt and maybe score. Aside that, he is not worthy of the 10 shirt. We can do without him, but not Pulisic. There is no rhythm from the entire team, as happened in the three matches without Pulisic and rabiot.
I agree 100%! Milan was playing great without Leao Pulisic and Rabiot go injured. Can’t wait to have them back so Leao can spend more time on the bench.
What I’ve been saying. Sell Leao for 80M in January and go get Vlahovic or Icardi, and Gila for defensive depth.
