Official: Di Bello will officiate Fiorentina-Milan – the precedents for both teams

By Oliver Fisher -

Marco Di Bello will be the referee for AC Milan’s game against Fiorentina at the Stadio Artemio Franchi tomorrow night, it has been confirmed.

As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it relay, the AIA have appointed Di Bello as referee for the match scheduled for Saturday at 20:45 CET between Vincenzo Italiano’s Fiorentina and Stefano Pioli’s Milan.

To assist the Apulian official there will be Mokhtar and Palermo as the two linesmen, the fourth official will be Sacchi while in the VAR booth will be Di Paolo as the chief and Zufferli as the assistant.

Milan’s previous games with Di Bello in charge are positive with 10 wins, 2 draws and 3 defeats in the 15 games he has officiated, with 2 penalties conceded. In the 8 meetings that Fiorentina have had with Di Bello they have racked up 4 wins, 3 draws and only 1 defeat.

The Diavolo are looking to make it five wins in a row in all competitions but they are facing a side they lost to in the same game last season in a 4-3 thriller.
