Official: Ibrahimovic’s recovery proceeding well – further tests in ten days

By Isak Möller -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is working hard to recover from his muscle injury. Earlier today, as captured by MilanNews.it’s Anto Vitiello, the Swede was present at Columbus clinic to undergo some tests.

Shortly after, on their official website, AC Milan announced the results of the check. The 38-year-old’s recovery is proceeding well and there have been no complications, with further tests scheduled in ten days.

Certainly, resuming the season without Ibrahimovic is a blow for the Rossoneri, who have performed so well with him on the pitch. It remains to be seen how many games he will miss, with the season set to restart on Friday next week with Juve-Milan.

Stefano Pioli’s men are currently working hard on the training ground to prepare for the game. The first leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final ended 1-1, making it a tough task for Milan at the Allianz Stadium. The game will start at 21:45 due to the summer heat.
