Official: Juventus vs. AC Milan starting XIs – Rossoneri unchanged from Samp win

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli has not made any changes to the starting line-up that will face Juventus compared to the team that beat Sampdoria last weekend.

Mike Maignan will be in goal with Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez forming the back four. Rade Krunic and Sandro Tonali are ahead of them in the midfield double pivot.

Brahim Diaz – who has scored twice against Juventus with the Rossoneri – is the central attacking midfielder, with Junior Messias on the right wing and Rafael Leao on the opposite flank.

Olivier Giroud leads the line, looking for his first goal against the Bianconeri and one that could earn a Champions League spot, given that a point is all that is needed.

Official Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Maignan; Calabria, Thiaw, Tomori, Theo; Tonali, Krunic; Messias, Diaz, Leao; Giroud.

Bench: Mirante, Tătăruşanu; Ballo-Touré, Florenzi, Gabbia, Kalulu, Kjær; Adli, Pobega, Saelemaekers, Vranckx; De Ketelaere, Origi.

Official Juventus XI (3-4-3): Szczęsny; Gatti, Bremer, Danilo; Cuadrado, Locatelli, Rabiot, Kostić; Di María, Kean, Chiesa.

Bench: Perin, Pinsoglio; Alex Sandro, Barbieri, Bonucci, Rugani; Miretti, Paredes, Sersanti; Iling-Junior, Milik.

      1. I know. Great header.
But he could’nt control the ball and passed it straight to a Juve attacker and they should have scored.
Of course he gets a goal every month or 2 but he does nothing else.
It’s like playing with 10 men.
I have nothing against Giroud, he just needs to be a back up at his age
