Sassuolo have officially announced the signing of AC Milan midfielder Manuel Locatelli, who initially arrives on a loan.
“Sassuolo announces that it has acquired Manuel Locatelli on a loan with an obligation to buy from AC Milan. The player will be presented to the press in the coming days,” the statement read.
AC Milan have also released a statement on the matter, confirming that the youngster will leave the club.
“AC Milan announces that it has temporarily sold the sports performances of Manuel Locatelli to US Sassuolo Calcio on a temporary basis, with an obligation to buy,” Milan’s statement read.
AC Milan will reportedly receive €2m for the loan, while the obligation is valued at €10m. The Rossoneri could also earn up to €2m in bonuses.
