Official: Milan confirm young midfielder Brescianini has joined Monza on loan

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have announced that midfielder Marco Brescianini has joined Monza on loan for the duration of the 2021-22 campaign.

Brescianini returned from his loan at Serie B side Virtus Entella and it was thought that he could be an interesting card to unlock the Sandro Tonali situation, however, he has moved to another Lombardy side in Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani’s Monza.

Brescianini has a contract with Milan until 2024 (signed before the loan to Entella) and is a profile particularly appreciated by the management, hence why there is no option or obligation to buy included in the deal.

He is a modern-day two-way central midfielder who puts in the work at both ends of the pitch – although his excelling qualities lie in the offensive part of the game as we highlighted in our analysis of the player. He made 29 league appearances for Entella, amassing 2 goals and 2 assists.
