Official: AC Milan confirm Pobega has renewed his contract until 2027

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan have confirmed the contract renewal of Tommaso Pobega, who has signed a new deal until 2027 with the club. The midfielder could be an important player for the Rossoneri this season.

Pobega spent last season out on loan at Torino and he did very well for Il Toro, playing in multiple positions throughout the season. Milan, therefore, acted quickly and have now secured a renewal for the midfield youngster.

On their official website, Milan confirmed that Pobega has assigned a renewal with the club until 2027. The previous deal was due to expire in 2025 and the new one is also expected to include a significant pay rise.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the renewal of Tommaso Pobega’s contract until 30 June 2027,” the statement read.

Pobega will not be the first choice for the midfield this season but given that Milan are yet to sign a midfielder, he currently stands a very good chance of getting many minutes. He still needs a bit of time to adapt to the tandem, though.

  1. First of all great he renewed his contract for the long term as im cconfident that he will be a success with us at least if he gets the chance to prove himself-
Secondly then I don get why some people doesnt believe we should keep him as he is a two footed cm who can play various roles in the mid and his serie a numbers are pretty great even though he has of yet only played for lesser serie a teams.
He has in total played 53 serie a matches and scored 10 goals and assisted 6 times and that in 3475 minutes which equals 38,61 games.
    Sounds pretty good to me.

  2. He categorically proves himself last season, why some people insist on questioning his talent? That’s nonsense.

    Anyway, forza Pobega!

  3. He remind me albertini. Not skillful but useful for the team . I hope he can follow demetrio albertini success path with AC Milan

    1. Sorry Reccaman but albertini not skillfull, it must have been a different player you have watched because the one i watched was a pretty skillfull player with great vision and great ability at shooting and passing. Id go as far to say that albertini was one of my favourite milan players of the early to mid 90ies so i might be a bit biased here but the player was one of the best midfielders of his generation and able to play several posions there.
