Maikel Oettle has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer at AC Milan amid the imminent exit of Casper Stylsvig to Chelsea. This was announced on the former’s LinkedIn last night.
Oettle first joined the Rossoneri as the Sponsorship Sales Director back in 2019 and thanks to his impressive work in that role, he was promoted to Commercial Director at the start of this year. Now, he has earned yet another promotion.
As confirmed by the man in question on his LinkedIn, he has been promoted to Chief Commercial Officer. This had been anticipated by the media a while back but the matter is now official.
Casper Stylsvig, who is the Chief Revenue Officer of Milan, is expected to leave the club and join Chelsea very soon. Oettle’s promotion likely comes as a result of that, as well as the appointment of Tania Moreno as the new Chief Marketing Officer.
