AC Milan have officially confirmed that Tommaso Pobega has joined Pordenone Calcio on loan with option to buy.

The 20-year-old midfielder is yet to make a senior appearance for the Rossoneri having made his way up the various youth systems.

Pobega joined Milan six years ago back in 2013 and spent last season on loan at Ternana Calcio in Serie C, making 32 appearances for the Rossoverdi.

Now, the 6ft2 powerhouse – who only turned 20 on Monday – has officially completed a season-long loan move to Pordenone, though they do have the option to buy.

However, it has been confirmed that their is a buy-back clause in the deal for Milan, which offers protection should he develop into an exciting asset.

A statement on the club’s official website reads: “AC Milan announces the transfer of the registration rights of the player Tommaso Pobega to Pordenone Calcio on a season-long loan deal with option to buy and buy back option clause for AC Milan.”
