MN: Origi gives approval to idea of swapping Liverpool for Milan – the reasons

By Oliver Fisher -

Further confirmations are arriving claiming that AC Milan are on track to secure the signing of Divock Origi on a free transfer, a report claims.

According to MilanNews, Milan’s interest in Origi is becoming more and more concrete, so much so that the Rossoneri management will soon meet the representatives of the Belgian to try to find a definitive agreement, just as we reported earlier.

A contract worth about €3.5-4m net per season – which with the growth decree would be about €5m gross – should be enough to seal the deal for the Rossoneri, with Origi happy to accept the move in order to have a leading role and more continuity in playing time.

This is something that he has never been able to find in his career in France and England, while the report adds that there is confidence among the parties involved that an agreement can be reached in a relatively short time.
