After playing his last game for Flamengo, Lucas Paqueta spoke to Esporte Espectacular about his upcoming move to AC Milan, revealing that Leonardo was the main reason for choosing the Rossoneri.
“If I chose the Rossoneri it’s all about Leonardo. He called me and convinced me immediately, I have to thank him. The most important thing is that Milan has a serious project for my career. This is the best decision that I could’ve made, and I can’t wait to start this new adventure.”

The attacking midfielder, who will join Milan for roughly €35m, was also asked about which shirt number he’s chosen.
“I asked to wear the number 39, the same one I had when I made my debut for Flamengo. It has brought me so much luck,” he concluded.
