AC Milan midfielder Lucas Paqueta has vowed to come back ‘strong than ever’ in the Rossoneri shirt once the team returns to playing.
It has not been an easy few months for Paqueta who has seen his playing time dramatically increase amid rumours he is struggling with life off the pitch. The Brazil international even withdrew his availability for a game against Brescia in December, arising speculation that he was trying to force an exit.
The former Flamengo man took to Instagram though to answer questions from fans, and one said: “Lucas, I cannot wait to see you playing in the Milan shirt again,” to which he replied: “Neither can I, I will come back stronger than ever.”
In addition to that he recited a famous Milan chant, and identified Hakan Calhanoglu, Ismael Bennacer, Franck Kessie and Leo Duarte – a fellow Brazilian – as his best friends at the club.

La Repubblica recently claimed that Fiorentina are studying a fresh assault to try and land Paqueta having already held talks in January, but that Elliott Management still value the player at around €30million.
