Malick Thiaw is not entirely convinced by the idea of joining Como at present, and he is expected to speak with Cesc Fabregas.
Multiple sources have reported that an agreement has been reached with Como over a €25m deal for Thiaw, which came out of the blue on Thursday. The previous links had been about a return to Germany for the centre-back, to Bayer Leverkusen more specifically.
The only thing missing was the final approval of the former Schalke defender, but it was claimed that a salary offer of €4m net per year was put on the table. Given that the German currently earns less than €1m per year at Milan, they hoped that would be enough.
Thiaw has doubts
Sources with direct knowledge of the matter tell us that Thiaw continues to be apprehensive about the idea of joining Como, even though the Lombardia club have reached an agreement in principle with Milan for €25m plus possible bonuses.
Como thought they would get the green light from the player this afternoon, but for the moment Thiaw has not completely resolved his reservations. Now a meeting with Cesc Fabregas is expected, who will increase the pressure to try to convince him.

I wouldn’t doubt too much if I were him. Unlike us, Como seems to have a real project.
It might take some times to materialize, but it’s nevertheless a project.
Exactly.
He is 23, their project will take 5-6 years to be relevant. Bologna is a better project, Atalanta as well. Realistically. I wouldn’t join Como if I was him.
Cmon fabregas , convince him to join.
I expected this to happen when yesterday there were articles here talking about €40 million from Como.
