Pellegatti reveals Bayern Munich ‘knocked on Milan’s door’ for Theo Hernadez – the response

By Oliver Fisher -

There is no chance that AC Milan will consider selling Theo Hernandez to Bayern Munich despite the recent rumours, Carlo Pellegatti has claimed.

It was reported by TMW yesterday that Bayern Munich are braced for an attempt by Real Madrid to sign Alphonso Davies in the summer. The Bundesliga side are already taking precautions and Theo Hernandez’s name is on the list of potential replacements drawn up.

It would give the Frenchman the chance to reunite with his brother Lucas, who has just returned to training six months after his cruciate ligament injury, but Theo’s importance to Milan means it is a far from easy pursuit.

Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel about the rumours that Bayern might have enquired about signing the Frenchman, and he reassured Milan fans that he will not be going anywhere.

“They knocked on Milan’s door and Milan doesn’t open to anyone. I always say that whoever judged this fund first must repent. Yesterday the indiscretion of Bayern Munich was leaked, knocking on Milan’s doors for Theo Hernandez,” he said.

“The Diavolo have not opened the door, the door is closed, as it is for Mike Maignan and Sandro Tonali. The door is closed for the Milan champions, it is not closed for Rafael Leao given that there is a release clause.”

  1. Another proof for all the people that constantly spread false narratives that Elliott/RedBird are all about money, and they just think about getting as much as they can and don’t wanna invest.
5 years of Elliott and they haven’t sold one high value player even though the club was in almost 300 mil debt.
It could have been so easy for them to come in and sell a big name or 2 to help balance the books faster but they didn’t sell anyone. They could have sold Theo, they could have accepted Chelsea offer for Leao but they said NO.
And they keep investing. If you look at the first couple years they invested a lot but they cut down on investment after covid as did every other club not named Chelsea.
Milan is about to post profit for a first time in God only knows how long and the owners did that without selling basically anyone of value. That’s how good they are at this.
With time and patience they will take Milan back to where it belongs. But they need help from the sporting department especially with sales of lesser players and making better decisions in the market

    1. And also good think to realize is that once Milan has turned its operations to profit, it’s far easier to invest. Loan after loan isn’t the answer when FFP issues are still on our back. The only _sustainable_ way is to make a profit and continue from there. And that’s what we’re doing. Unlike e.g. Inter whose financials are a mess. Or Juve who had to fake their books to get by. And look where it got them.

  2. €120M for Theo and I might consider it. Sign Mykolenko from Everton for €30M and you have €90M to still invest into the club to fix your RW, ST, and MF options on top of the assumed €50-70M they are going to kick in the coffers already.

Sales for players like Rebic, Balo-Toure, and Origi go back into the transfer pool and you can bring in some solid signings to help balance the team to attack from both the left and the right while stabilizing the defense.

    1. First of all let’s hope we do not sell cz he is our hero , but if we sell let’s say 100+ we acually can be a better team we’ll have a spending power (200 – 175) , you are right for a LB Mykolenko (25) + Parisi from empoli as a backup (18) , Fot CB Umtiti he is cheap , for RB Znoli (8) for backup he got potenial to be a starter in the future and can play RB RM & CB AND for MD Kamada free , Milenkovic savic for (45) , R WING CHIESA they want to sell him he will cost maybe ( 45 – 40 ) and scamaca or retegui in front we can loan tgen buy them next season if and if they do well

  3. If bayern come with 80m+. We better consider it. Thats your job maldini & co. Give profit for you lovely club but then invest to another player for balanced on sporting + business. No player bigger than a club.

  4. AC Milan financial are most healthy comparing to all serie A club , no need to sell theo . But i dont know in future, maybe RedBird will consider sell if offer 100m +++ euro come for theo
