Journalist Carlo Pellegatti has urged AC Milan fans who are getting excited by the Sergej Milinkovic-Savic links to hold their horses for the time being.
Today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it) reported that Stefano Pioli has identified Milinkovic-Savic as the ideal man for the role of attacking midfielder in his 4-2-3-1 system, having worked with him at Lazio.

A boost then arrived Lazio director Igli Tare admitted that Milinkovic-Savic could be sold in the summer, with Lazio potentially set for a fair bit of upheaval despite the fact they are heading back to the Champions League.
Pellegatti gave an interview to Radio Rossonera and he was asked about the stories linking Milan with a move for the Serbia international, something he did not rule out but admitted seems a bit ‘strange’.
“Whenever I asked about him, in the past, it was always reported to me as impossible, even if there were higher costs than today. In the past few days I have not checked, I will go and do it,” he began.
“It seems a bit strange to me, because he has always been a complicated name in an expensive shop like Lazio. He is a player who wants at least 5 or 6 million euros [net per season] and also the Premier League are courting him. For now, I wouldn’t feed the fans’ illusions much.”

Man, I think Lazio is shaping up to be an embarrassment for Serie A in the CL next season. It’s gonna be like Udinese and Sampdoria ~15 years ago. To me I think Milan has gotten it right but Milan should evaluate for next season Milan should just sign Christian pulisic to assist leao Noah Okafor to assist Geroud then we can sign ritsu Doan for right winger then for playmakers Milan has gotten Diaz, Loftus cheek, Daichi kamada with a left back from salerternia to assist Theo Hernandez Milan should get all this players because the expectations the fans need from Milan is high and Acmilan must not fail the fans reputation then Milan should evaluate and sell all the in improved Milan players that are not doing well.

Dont get me wrong Alexis Mac Allister would be a magnificent transfer but he will most likely cost 80-100 mil and also seems to be on the verge to signing for liverpool so its by no way a feasible move.
