Pellegatti: Next week decisive as Milan could make move for Sassuolo midfielder

By Isak Möller -

Due to Ismael Bennacer’s injury, one of AC Milan’s priorities this season is to bring in a midfielder. Davide Frattesi has been linked with the club and could become a concert target, as Carlo Pellegatti highlights.

Bennacer will be out until the end of the year after undergoing knee surgery one month ago. As a result, looking at the starters, Milan only have Sandro Tonali and Rade Krunic available for the midfield tandem currently.

Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada are working on finding a midfielder to reinforce the squad and as reported by Carlo Pellegatti on his YouTube channel, Frattesi could become an option. Juventus and Inter are also keen, but Milan will have a meeting with the player’s agent Beppe Riso next week.

Milan want to understand the situation and then decide if they can enter the race for the 23-year-old. Sassuolo are asking for €25-35m for the player and only after the meeting will we know if the Rossoneri will involve themselves.

  1. Fratessi isn’t bad at all I would be glad having him in the team. Also we need to buy some Italian players ( Berrardi or Scamacca), we have max 5 italian players in the team. Personal opinion dont flamethrow me.

    1. what’s sad is that you have to be afraid to say you want more italian players here. kind of crazy the mob that is out there who supposedly support the italian team AC Milan yet can’t stand all italian players. strange.

      I agree w you btw
