AC Milan have two games left and one win required to secure a spot in the Champions League for next season, but things are moving ahead of the summer window.
Milan know that they can seal a top four spot against their bitter rivals Juve on Sunday night and in the process they would unlock a boost in economic resources that can help them when it comes to the upcoming mercato and reinforcing the squad.
Pellegatti spoke on his YouTube channel about the rumours that are circulating regarding various players potentially arriving, starting by addressing the ‘#BrahimOut’ Twitter campaign.
“I’m sorry that there is this current of thought. To find another player like Diaz you have to spend more than 20 million, but if we have Kamada and Diaz, we’re starting to have two great players who can play as a 10,” he said.
“If you also have Loftus-Cheek, I have a full midfield, with six great players. Then we will think about the attack, attention to Zhegrova, who would not be a starter, in my opinion, that anticipation of the Kosovar journalist has important margins of foundation.”
The Zhegrova links started when journalist Arlind Sadiku wrote on his Facebook page that Milan would be signing a Kosovan player, and we did some research which established that it could be the Lille forward.
This is because of the agreement between Milan and the Ligue 1 club over Rafael Leao’s fine, which could see the Rossoneri owed €18m by Les Dogues or perhaps a player of equivalent amount.
The circumstances regarding the fees owed by Leao to Sporting is a little bizzare, considering Lille somehow came forward and offered to pay the fine.
Of course, there’s no free lunch, and we have to reimburse it. Therefore, probably we have to “compensate” them by buying one of their players in an inflated fee? (Case in point, is buying Zhegrova, valued at 7M for 18M). This “creative accounting” would help ‘balance’ Lille’s book, as they’d be “making” profits from the sale.

Not sure what you are talking about. But Lille got Leao for free because he terminated his contract with Sporting and then we bought Leao from Lille for €30m. So Lille coming out to pay is just about right.

Damn, he’s thinking the same as I am. But I’d like to go further. Sell CdK, and use the money to purchase Diaz ($20 mil ish), with a side note that we already seal the deal with Kamada. Use the excess money as an additional budget for the more urgent position like RW and Striker.
Of course this kind thought would make all hell breaks loose here. But hey, we’re all entitled to our own views and thoughts.
Selling CDK after splash 35m euro cash will hit hard to Maldini , he will do anything to keep CDK and make him shine ( forcing pioli to play CDK even no contribution) . We have no choice to keep CDK & sign kamada as AMF . Yeah i agree we must all in budget for striker & RW . I guess our budget next season should be 70m euro + sale player money ( Rebic,Origi,Ballotoure,Junior)

Although it is a nice thing to think about at night, the question is simple. Why would Lazio sell him to Milan? SMS is never short of admirers. Knowing that his price might significantly drop this summer, it’d be easier for Lazio to sell him to highest bidder club, most likely from EPL.
Yes it’ll all come down to the player. But SMS never says anything in connection with Milan; like he’s a fan growing up, etc etc.

Diaz its too small for italian football. We watch on milan V inter. Better sign kamada, pessina or zaccagni. Natural born playmaker. Diaz isnt AM, hes natural winger.
