Photo: Average position of each Milan player in big win against Monza

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan clinched all three points in the game against Moinza last night, beating Silvio Berlusconi’s side by four goals to one. Brahim Diaz was the big hero with a brace and his position throughout the game was interesting.

Despite being named as the No.10 in the starting XI, Diaz drifted out to the right a lot and also dropped down deep when needed to collect the ball (like the first goal). In today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport, we can take a look at the average positions.

Indeed, the Spaniard drifted out to the right a lot and Milan’s right-hand side was quite brave (with high positions). You can see all the players in the photo below.

  1. Looks like Diaz actually play more on the right flank, just like Pioli said. It means he and CDK can play at the same time.

    1. Centre right as Pioli said. It’s more like a hybrid position. And yes, they can play together as Pioli said as well. But when Messias is healthy, he’ll most definitely get the start. A kind of Piolissimo player.
