Samu Castillejo got the chance from start last night after the success against Hellas Verona. However, it didn’t exactly go to plan as he sustained an injury and was forced to leave the pitch at half-time.
The Spaniard, as mentioned, impressed against Verona and as a result of the many injuries, he got the chance again in the league. On his Instagram page, he sent a message to the fans amid the injury.
“It’s a shame after a long time to have to leave the field like this, I hope to come back soon to help my teammates. Thanks for all of the messages,” he wrote.
As per MilanNews, Castillejo has a problem with his left flexor. New tests will be carried out today but his presence on Tuesday evening is certainly in doubt.
