Photo: Curva Sud empties in protest against Milan

By Oliver Fisher -

The crisis at AC Milan deepened on Sunday night as the Curva Sud left the stadium well before the full-time whistle.

It was another disastrous game for the Rossoneri as Vincenzo Montella’s Viola side strolled to three-goal lead thanks to Erick Pulgar’s penalty plus goals from Gaetano Castrovilli and Franck Ribery.

Leao did provide the remaining fans with one moment of joy as he weaved past two defenders inside the box before finishing confidently into the bottom corner.

However, prior to that the majority of the Curva Sud had left, even chanting that the club ‘does not deserve them’ in light of recent results.

Milan sit one point above the relegation zone having lost four of their opening six games this season.
