Olivier Giroud was the big hero for AC Milan in their 1-0 win against Genoa last night, not because he scored a goal but because he helped keep a clean sheet. Zlatan Ibrahimovic has now commented on his heroics.
Giroud was forced to put on the gloves due to Mike Maignan’s red card and he made a decisive save deep into added time. Thanks to the win, Milan are now in first place in the standings, two points ahead of city rivals Inter.

On his Instagram (see photo below), Ibrahimovic shared his thoughts on the heroics and asked Milan to send him the ‘Giroud 9’ goalkeeper jersey: “I want this shirt @acmilan. Never too late to find your real position @oliviergiroud.”
